Lucy Violet Sleep Coach
Helping parents guide their babies to independent sleep.
What I do
I support parents in guiding their babies, 4-12 months of age, towards independent sleep and self-settling whilst honouring and protecting the special bonds built in the first months of life.
I am an advocate for the fourth trimester - a time of skin-to-skin contact, movement and closeness as your baby adjusts to life outside of the womb. As your baby grows, however, a natural transition begins. Babies become heavier to hold for sleep, they may be waking more often as their sleep cycles mature and parents often long for rest, balance and time to reconnect with themselves. I use gradual, gentle and proven support methods to assist you in this journey, getting babies comfortable and content in their own sleep space and improving sleep and mood for the whole family.
Above all, I empower parents with the knowledge, tools and reassurance they need to achieve their sleep goals- without sacrificing connection. Understandably, when parents are well rested, they have more patience, presence and energy to nurture the relationships that matter the most.
About me
Hi, I’m Lucy — a certified Sleep Coach, mum to two girls, and an Early Years Professional with extensive experience supporting children from birth to five years. Caring for little ones and their families has always been at the heart of what I do.
Originally from the UK and now raising my family in Sydney, far from the support networks I grew up with, I quickly came to understand just how vital the right support is during early parenthood.
My firstborn experienced colic, reflux, and a cow’s milk allergy, all of which had a significant impact on our family’s sleep. During that time, some of the joy I had imagined in early motherhood felt overshadowed by exhaustion. I found myself overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information and conflicting opinions around baby sleep, unsure of what to trust or where to begin.
As we approached the four-month mark and sleep patterns shifted once again, it became clear that making changes to how our baby fell asleep was essential — not just for rest, but for the wellbeing of our whole family.
With the guidance of trusted sleep professionals, everything changed. Sleep improved, confidence returned, and we began enjoying calm, restorative nights — often 12 hours at a time — allowing us to truly rest, function, and enjoy family life again.
That experience inspired me to train as a sleep coach. Today, I support families like yours to achieve healthy, independent sleep in a way that feels gentle and informed — without the overwhelm of endless research or guesswork.
I would love to support you, your baby, and your family on your sleep journey.
